This painting represents the peaceful feelings that comes to me when I am truly enjoying the wonders of nature.   While photographing for the show Wildlife Art Gallery, which airs on The Outdoor Channel, in Sisters, Oregon,  I stayed at a camp site located on the Metolius River.   Rising early in the morning I photographed what would be the inspiration for this painting.   The fisherman is created from several photos taken the day before at a different location of David Wirth, the host of the show and an excellent artist.
